DIY of the Week: Gold Leaf Pumpkin
This DIY project courtesy of Michaels is a sophisticated take on Halloween decor. Perhaps you don’t want the mess of carving a pumpkin this year, or you prefer fall decor that works from Halloween through Thanksgiving. This easy project does just that!

Supplies:
- Modge Podge
- White acrylic paint
- Various metallic paints (copper, gold, rose gold)
- Faux leaves in various sizes
- Paint Brushes
- Plastic Pumpkin
Instructions:
STEP 1
Paint the base of the pumpkin with white acrylic paint and let dry.
STEP 2
Select 12-15 leaves in various sizes. Paint them gold, copper, and rose gold. Let your leaves dry.
STEP 3
Paint the stem of your pumpkin gold and let dry.
STEP 4
Brush Mod Podge® around your pumpkin in a wavy line. Now, while the glue is wet, add your painted leaves. Alternate the Golds and sizes as you work around the pumpkin, then let dry.
