Rewarding Moments: Christine

Christine (Swag Name: Taxlady1040) is from Lake Mary, Florida and has been a Swagbucks member since january 2018. In Christine’s line of work, she will often suggest ways for people to make extra money. When she found out about us, she decided to try it out before suggesting it and was instantly hooked! Her favorite ways to earn SB is through surveys.

When she first started, she used to give her gift cards to clients or friends but last year, her husband lost his job and they lost their main source of income. Now she uses her earnings for groceries and used it to buy gifts for Christmas until tax season rolls around.

In 2018 it was great just getting a little bit of fun money to play with and to give the gift cards away to some of my clients. However in 2020 with Covid, my husband got laid off from his job. We lost our main source of income, healthcare etc. I am grateful we have a family who is trying to help us out, but not sure how much more they can help us and I hate asking people for help. Now I use Swagbucks so we can pay for groceries and Christmas presents for my family. Thank you so much Swagbucks for being there for me in a time I needed. I know this is only a blimp in the road and hopefully my husband finds a job soon. I worry about all the other people out there, some people are not as fortunate as myself. Yes I do taxes for a living and meet many people who are struggling to make money. I often do their taxes either for free or for a very low price. Lower than most chain tax places. It is a way for me to give back. I am eager to start tax season next year but for now my husband and I are not making any income with a family of four. Thank you so much for all you do.
